State Emergency Equipment Rate Schedule
The rates on this Schedule of Equipment Rates are for equipment in good mechanical condition, complete with all required accessories. Each rate covers all costs eligible under the Stafford Act for ownership and operation of equipment, including depreciation, routine maintenance and field repairs, fuel, lubricants, tires, OSHA equipment and other costs incident to operation. Extra-ordinary equipment damages, resulting from Emergency Operations, may be separately eligible upon justification consistent with FEMA Directive Policy Number 9525.8. Equipment standby/downtime hours are not eligible. Claimed hours for emergency work should not exceed the actual hours worked by the assigned equipment operators. Equipment use for 24 hours/day should not be claimed unless the equipment is staffed and in continuous use around the clock. Intermittent equipment use can be charged consistent with actual operator time. Appropriate rate can be selected by Capacity/Size or engine Horsepower rating.
