Disaster Temporary Housing
The Florida Division of Emergency Management is committed to serving the citizens of Florida with housing issues following a disaster. Recovery from any disaster is intended to return an individual, family, or community to pre-disaster conditions whenever possible. In the event of a federal declaration of disaster by the president, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) begins working with its federal partners, state and local government, and impacted communities to meet housing needs that may include temporary housing, home repairs, and home replacement.
