After a disaster, many families are left reeling from the damage and disruption to their daily lives. Before any federal dollars can begin flowing, a Joint Preliminary Damage Assessment must be conducted with Local, State and Federal team members. This training will provide an overview of the state damage assessment process and criteria used to assess homes and businesses.

When a course is not filled by individuals from the host area six weeks before the course date, applicants will be accepted from any other area of the state on a first come, first served basis.
