2008-2009 APPLICATION INFORMATION
The Division of Emergency Management will not be executing contracts for this application cycle. Due to Florida's budget shortfall, funds for the 2008/2009 Emergency Management Preparedness and Assistance Competitive Grant Program were not appropriated by the 2008 Florida Legislature. Any future funding of this program will require legislative approval.
The Division will notify each recipient if future funds become available for emergency management projects.

Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG)
2008-2009 APPLICATION INFORMATION
These competitive funds will be provided to municipalities with a population of 100,000 or less, are legally constituted, have an authorized, established, and maintained emergency management program, as well as a signed current Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement (SMAA). Each Municipal Emergency Management Program Applicant may apply for one competitive grant under this program. Applicants MUST provide a dollar for dollar match of non-Federal funds.
