GIS Lab Uses KML for Public Mapping
The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Lab uses KML to enable public access to locations and driving directions. Using an easy-to-use interface that the public is likely already familiar with and requiring no downloads or plug-in, these locations may easily be displayed and driving directions obtained.
