The Florida Division of Emergency Management is pleased to announce the winners of the
2011 Florida Severe Weather Awareness Poster and Public Service Announcement Contest:

1st Place:

2nd Place:

Winning posters will hang in the State Emergency Operations Center throughout the year. All winners received NOAA All-Hazard Weather Radios, and the first place winner received one day, one park tickets to a Walt Disney World theme park and a trip to the Severe Weather Awareness Week kickoff party in Downtown Disney.

Winning videos will air statewide as part of the Division’s 2011 Public Awareness Campaign. Winners also received one-day, one-park tickets to a Walt Disney World theme park and a trip to the Severe Weather Awareness Week kickoff party in Downtown Disney. Winning PSAs will be professionally reproduced and aired statewide as part of the Division’s 2011 Public Service Awareness Campaign.
We congratulate this year’s winners and encourage all of Florida’s students to participate in next year’s Severe Weather Awareness Week Contests.
