EM Day allows emergency management professionals from across Florida to network, engage with their legislators, expand their knowledge, and collaborate to build more resilient communities statewide.

Event Summary

Please join the Florida Division of Emergency Management as we celebrate our 6th annual Emergency Management Day at the Florida Capitol! This year’s event, themed “Excellence in Action,” will take place on February 24 and 25, 2026, at the Turnbull Center and the Florida Capitol.

A welcome reception will take place on Tuesday evening, followed by a full day of events on Wednesday beginning at FSU’s Turnbull Center, transitioning to the Capitol, and ending the day on Adams Street.

We are offering a first-come, first-served hotel room block for attendees. Room blocks are available at the state rate of $225/night at two Tallahassee hotels. Please note that the last day to book is Friday, January 23, 2026. To book a room with these hotels, utilize the information below:

Transportation: Shuttles will be available at the following times:

• Morning Session: Hampton Inn & Suites and Hyatt House à FSU Turnbull Center

  • Followed by: Capitol à Hampton Inn & Suites and Hyatt House
• Evening Reception: Hampton Inn & Suites and Hyatt House à Capitol
